Forum is the undergraduate legislative body of the Minnesota Student Association. Forum is tasked with passing legislation, voting on the MSA budget, affirming appointments, and providing proper representation of the entire undergraduate student body.View governing documents here.

Forum is the legislative body of MSA, and it meets every two weeks to vote on legislation and other important matters happening throughout the organization, across campus, and in our community. It is comprised of voting members, general members, and MSA staff members. The voting body is comprised of 20 elected At-Large Representatives (ALRs), 21 elected Twin-Cities Student Senators, 6 MSA Committee Directors (CDs), and Student Group Representatives (SGRs). Forum is run and executed by Forum Board, which is comprised of the Speaker, Ranking At-Large Representative (RALR), Ranking Voting Member (RVM), and the MSA Representative to the Student Senate Consultative Committee (SSCC).

Are you interested in getting involved with Forum? Any undergraduate student can join MSA and attend Forum! General Members do not have voting rights, but they can receive updates on Forum and the work being done in MSA. If you are interested in becoming a General Member, please reach out to Speaker Johal at johal005@umn.edu!
